Muhammad Ali Jinnah
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a Lawyer, politician
and the founder of Pakistan. Muhammad Ali Jinnah served as the leader of the
All-India Muslim league from 1913 until Pakistan’s creation on 14 August 1947
and then as Pakistan’s first Governor-General until his death. By 1940 Jinnah
had come to believe that Muslim of Indian subcontinent should have their own
state. From the 1930’s Muhammad Ali Jinnah suffered from tuberculosis only his
sister and few other close to him were aware of his condition. Quaid-e-AzamMuhammad Ali Jinnah passed away at 10:20 pm at his home in Karachi on 11
September 1948 at the age of 71, just over a year after Pakistan’s creation.
